CompTIA Authorized Partner Program

Downers Grove, Ill., May 26, 2011 – As part of a focused campaign to build a global network of training partners, CompTIA, the non-profit trade association for the information technology (IT) industry, has accepted Caribbean TECH TrendZ Ltd. into the CompTIA Authorized Partner Program (CAPP).
Caribbean TECH TrendZ Ltd. has been offering preparation classes for CompTIA vendor neutral certifications for a number of years. They have now formalized their relationship with CompTIA in order to work more closely with CompTIA to provide a vendor neutral IT skills development path. Their unique focus on the current IT professionals and career changers in Trinidad & Tobago and the Caribbean region was what drew CompTIA's attention.
The CompTIA Authorized Partner Program (CAPP) is a channel program for IT training companies. This program has specific requirements of its partners. These requirements include:
1. Instructors are required to hold the certifications for which they are teaching;
2. The instructors are required to hold the CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+) certification;
3. The partner must use "Metrics That Matter" a tool from Knowledge Advisors that provides feedback from students on their learning experiences; and,
4. The courseware used in the classes must be CompTIA Authorized Quality Content (CAQC)
CompTIA certifications provide a unique development path for IT professionals because they are vendor neutral, globally recognized by the IT community, and they provide a broad foundation of technical knowledge for IT professionals and for people looking to change their careers. CompTIA certifications are directly connected to vendor-specific training programs.
Today, more than 1.5 million people, in over 140 countries, hold CompTIA certifications.
